Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood Through Dec. 29
Get into the holiday spirit as you enjoy the Park adorned with holiday decorations, holiday-themed food, characters, photo opportunities, and more! Celebrate Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, join the Who-tacular festivities with The Grinch™, and end your day at Universal CityWalk, where you can enjoy world-class shopping, dining, and movies at the state-of-the-art Cinema.

LA Zoo Lights Through Jan. 5
Whether you like your holidays on the traditional side or served with a twist, you’ll find plenty of eye-popping, jaw-dropping wonder at L.A. Zoo Lights, which is delivering seasonal sights, sounds and delights nightly. Glowing animals welcome you on an unforgettable nighttime journey that includes giant illuminated snowflakes, a disco ball forest, a whimsical herd of animated elephants, and a twinkling tunnel filled with dynamic swirls of color.

Enchanted Forest of Light Through Jan. 7
Enchanted Forest of Light is an interactive, nighttime experience unlike anything else in Los Angeles, featuring a one-mile walk through unique lighting experiences in some of the most beloved areas of Descanso Gardens. There are a variety of large-scale light displays, many of which are interactive, allowing visitors to manipulate the lights and sounds.

Ice Skating at Pershing Square Through Jan. 20
L.A. doesn’t typically seem like much of a winter wonderland, until, that is, you create an ice skating rink right in the midst of Downtown skyscrapers and Los Angeles icons.

Smorgasburg Holiday Market Dec. 1 -22
Our Holiday Market returns every Sunday starting December 1 through December 22. Come shop for original goods and packaged foods for all of your gift giving while you eat some of the best food in Los Angeles!

Hollywood Christmas Parade Dec. 1
Music at the grandstands begins at 5:00 p.m., and the Hollywood Christmas Parade begins at 6:00 p.m., with giant balloons, floats, costumed characters, bands, equestrians, and celebrities. FREE to attend!

Echo Park Craft Fair Dec. 6-8
Celebrating 10 years of commitment to creativity and community, The Echo Park Craft Fair has evolved alongside the artists it supports, igniting nothing less than a modern maker revolution.

International Tamale Festival Dec. 7-8
How far would you drive for delicious tamales? The Indio International Tamale Festival tempts you with 200 vendors, five stages of entertainment, beer and wine gardens, a tamale eating contest, a carnival, a car show, and a parade in downtown Indio.

Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Dec. 8
The Holiday Fireworks have, over an entire generation, become part of the very heart and soul of the Manhattan Beach community. This event is FREE to attend and the show will go on rain or shine!

Marina Del Rey Boat Parade Dec. 14
Bring a blanket and gather around Fisherman’s Village or Burton Chace Park to watch as 70 boats glide through the marina with holiday lights and decorations in competition. Categories include Best Theme, Best Animation, Best Band, Best Lights and more. The festivities begin at 5:55 p.m. with fireworks, and the boat parade starts at 6:00 p.m., rain or shine.

Santa Monica Pub Crawl Dec. 14
Gather your friends and join other do-gooders at the annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl. A $10 to $20 admittance fee, benefitting the Westside Food Bank, allows you to participate in one of four routes around Santa Monica to experience drink and food specials at some of the city’s best spots.

Vegan Sweets Con Dec. 14
Vegan Sweets Con is all things vegan sweets and a little savory too! Vegan bakers, artisans, chocolatiers, chefs and cooks will show off their skills with delicious vegan sweets!

Hanukkah Festival Dec. 15
Celebrate and enjoy the holiday spirit with music, dancing, storytelling, food, and arts and crafts.

Holiday Sing-Along Dec. 21
Strike the harp and join the chorus with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Holiday Sing-Along at Walt Disney Hall. The seasonal program offers two performances, with a special guest to-be-named taking the stage to recite holiday poems. A festive sing-along of holiday classics by the Angeles Chorale will include provided lyric sheets just in case you forget how many fa-la-la-la’s are in Deck the Halls.

L.A. County Holiday Celebration Dec. 24
As Los Angeles’ largest multicultural holiday celebration, the 59th annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration, presented by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, provides Angelenos of all ages an opportunity to come together during the holidays to experience and honor the dynamic, rich cultures of the County. During the free event, many diverse L.A. – based artists and community groups showcase their talent, artistry and traditions on The Music Center’s iconic Dorothy Chandler Pavilion stage.

New Year’s Eve Dinner Dec. 31
